Change of lens vs having two cameras

Hi everyone.

I travel quite a lot to take pictures but still willing to improve...

Ok, let me exaplain my concern.

I am still newbie and I have currently a Fuji XT-30 II with 18-55 lens. As we all know, this is not sufficiently "all around" and looking for a wildlife camera and maybe a wide angle too.

Here is my question :

- Most of the experts will tell me of course that best option is buying several lenses and change lens depending on the scene. MAkes sense but the main issue is that I'm always afraid of not doing it properly and cleansing the camera sensor  is - at least for me - quite something I don't feel comfortable with.
I don't want to damage it, which happened to a friend of mine who tried to sold his nikon but the shope denied because of scratches on the sensor.

- Another option would be one camera for each purpose, but that would be quite complex to operate while traveling and very heavy inside the backpack.
Wanted to have your opinion and best way to manage it.
