For me C1. After getting used to it I like the UI better than LR. I also just prefer it, but that is personal. I do like that they still offer or they did a non subscription version. I find the additional features marginal. They also usually have a sale to upgrade your non subscription version. So even if you do it is about the same or cheaper than subscribing. At least the choice is yours. My only gripe with C1 is their IOS app is beta at best. I found it useless with my workflow. It’s lack of layers and really just the inability to open a catalog on local shared storage was a deal breaker for me.

For actual RAW processing for print I prefer C1. Light touching up that will go to the internet I find Snapseed and editing jpegs imported with the Fuji app works just fine.

Thank you too for your thoughts - the subscription is far too expensive in my mind. I dont care how good it is. Yes its nice they do a full license.

I definitly need to 'get used' to the interface, but its not terrible. Just very different and unfamiliar of course. IOS doesnt worry me as i'm in the android camp

Appreciate your time

Steve
