(OP here). I'm still waiting for somebody to offer an L-bracket that custom-fits the R7. The only outfit so far that even claims to have something similar is SmallRig, which makes the "Black Mamba" cage for the R7 and the R10. The Black Mamba gadget doesn't fit my needs out of the box (all I want is an L-bracket, without all the extra armatures and attachment points for video and microphones and such). I would have to purchase a separate Arca Swiss bracket to attach to the side of the cage for it to do want I need, and I don't want the extra bulk (or cost, for that matter).

I've checked every day for weeks on the SmallRig, ProMediaGear, Really Right Stuff, Sunwayfoto and 3 Legged Thing Web sites, and at least so far none are offering what I need.

Harrumph.

Larry, we have to realize that R7/R10 just came out, it takes sometime to see accessories show up on the shelves. so i'd wait until i hear about it and go from there

I got basically the same advice a couple of months ago. No choice but to try to wait patiently, but that won't stop me from griping. I keep hoping somebody at one of those companies might read this thread and realize there's money to be made.
