Unable to connect my R5 to desktop computer via Wi-Fi.

I am stumped.

I am trying to connect my R5 to my home computer (windows 10) via Wi-Fi, using the EOS Utility.

The EOS Utility is the latest version.

I have tried connecting it both ways - the camera connecting via my home network and/or the camera generating the network itself and having the computer connect to that network (the computer shows it is connected to the camera, after successfully connecting)

Both ways seem to work until I get to the final step in the camera, with the screen stating that the pairing is in progress and requesting the EOS Utility to be started in the computer.

I start EOS Utility, press “pairing over Wi_Fi/LAN”, the window that would display the camera, once detected pops up, as it should but, then…it just stalls and nothing more happens, both in the camera and the computer.

Any ideas?
