My Z6II's ISO seems to be changing by itself. What's going on?

I have it set to a specific shutter speed, and most of the time, I shoot with a 24-70 F2.8S wide open.

How have you set the "target" of auto ISO? A specific shutter speed or a setting relative to the focal length?

If the latter is true, and if you have set a factor of four to decrease the shutter speed beyond the 1/focal_length rule, and if you are operating in the tele range, and if you have stopped down your lens, you could arrive at very high ISO settings even during bright daylight.
