After the brutal heat wave, weather is finally getting better. The past few days have been absolutely marvelous.We went down to Battery Park just sat under the shade. Enjoyed the breeze and the scenery.
We decided to take the water taxi from Wall Street up to the Throggs Neck. The ride cost $5.50 per person round trip and took around two hours. It was a wonder way to see the city from the East River and then the sunset.
It was typical New York City style, very high pace. You passed by many beautiful architectural and famous wonders and went under many famous bridges. We had a great time before having dinner in Chinatown to finish off a very enjoyable day.
Technical notes: The video was shot with Moza Air gimbal. The wind was strong at time. It caused the camera to tilt slightly in a couple of clips. The water mist from the spray made the flare interesting when shooting into the sun. There was some dirt in the sensor which was obvious when I stepped down the aperture. I learned to add the step to check my sensor before any future shoot.
