Very sorry for your loss.

Four advantages off the top of my head regarding the X-T2/3 over the XT-20/30:

The larger EVF

2 Way tilt LCD

The body is better in hand (for me at least) without an addition grip*

WR*

*These things may or not matter depending on what lenses you use, I don't recall you saying.

I have both X-T3 and XT30-II. The T30 is perfectly fine for the smaller lenses but I use my T3 for the larger zooms (16-80/70-300).

Yes, the EVF on the X-Txx series bodies is not as pleasant an experience as the X-Tx bodies, but I honestly don't have a problem unless I start switching between them. And then, it's not that big of a deal. I don't shoot with glasses (yet) so can't speak to that.

The X-T2 is still a fine camera. Mine developed a problem so I upgraded to the T3.

If you can find an X-T2 from a reseller that offers a decent return policy and warranty I think that would be my choice if it was going to be my only camera.

Good luck and hope you find a quick and satisfactory solution soon.
