Where are we at now has anything better than the X-S10 in that kind of price range been released since? Its been nearly 2 years.
It just feels like something good should have been released by now or is soon to be released?
We are 95% still shooters, the X-S10 IBIS really appealed to negate the need for a monopod all the time.
But we may shoot a bit of video in the future, but it would be at the bottom of the priorities.
Tack sharp images with good HDR, investing in a 10bit monitor, mostly shoot landscape and wild life.
We will buy soon, so just getting a general idea if anything is coming or has come....
I considered the XS10 too, but rejected it because of the poor view finder and display. Both looked good from the specs, however. I suggest renting your dream camera before buying. Worth the extra money and effort.
