Monopod does not offer much stabilisation - about two stops, considerably less than any OIS or IBIS these days.

Tack sharp images with good HDR, investing in a 10bit monitor, mostly shoot landscape and wild life.

Ideally this is two different cameras with different lenses. Think what lenses you want to use, as this is likely to be the main cost.

The Sony RX10iv might not be a bad idea as a cost-effective compromise.
