Sony: Especially on the road, I do not want to be thinking of battery life nor storage space, among other limits/compromises of any phone.

My Sony phone has half a terabyte internal storage, and a micro SD slot to add further storage capacity. Battery life for me has been fine, but it's not going to be as long lasting as many other phones which have lower resolution screens and slower processors.

As you say, phones will always have compromises if they're the only image making device you take on the road. The Xperia Pro-I is a superb device and arguably as good as it gets, but I can't do without a good compact camera.
