Ladybug short stack
7

Ive been spending more time trying to get handheld stacks. This one isnt perfect, but getting better/figuring it out. Around 2x magnification with 100mm and Raynox 250. Really small but healthy looking ladybug. 9 shot stack just to get entire front in focus.

It seems like neither Zerene or Helicon do very well with handheld stacks. Photoshop seems a bit better. However, Im trying to solve that as well. I think cropping and manually alligning/eyballing images prior to uploading to the software helps a lot. I do have some shots for much higher mag, deeper stacks I want to try to upload tonight. They are more like 25 - 30 shots at 3x made with my Venus 2.5x-5x lens. I went hard and tried some 40 shot stack of a Robberfly at nearly 4x on my 1st attempt. Learned that I should start easier lol. I will have it down by end of summer. I know it can be done.

Ladybug, Canon R7, Ef100mm 2.8 L, Raynox DCR250, Godox TT600, DIY diffuser. Im pretty stoked on this new diffuser material.
