I have a Canon R5. I just bought a set of ProMaster R mount tubes (11/15) for my macro introduction. Can't say how they will perform, other than I read some really good reviews from others. I am pretty sure they won't get the 1:1 like from a regular macro lens, but for now, they will work for what I need to learn macro.

If you mean that you have the 26mm tube set, you will probably manage to get around 1:2 to 1:1.5.  You can definitely learn the macro procedure with them.

I have a set that are 10mm + 16mm, but used them individually more than anything else. I could reach 1:2 with about any lens without getting too close.  I used them a lot before getting a true macro lens.
