I've owned three different versions of the X100. I now have a GRIII. If either one was going to be my only camera, it'd 100% be the X100. But it's not my only camera.

Exactly my thoughts. I have changed camera gear a lot over the years, but the GR has stayed constant. It's just a perfect sidekick camera.

The X100 competes for strap space. You can only use one, either your main camera or the X100.

huh? There are plenty of people who use more than one camera per day or per session.

The GR does not compete, it complements. Have a long lens mounted but need a quick wide-angle? Just pull out the GR from your pocket. Are you going to a place where a big camera would be inconvenient or conspicuous? Nobody bats an eye at a GR.

I used to own an X100T, but in the end I'd rather take an ILC with me most of the time, so it got sold. And for the record, while my GR (I) had serious dust problems, the GR III seems fine.
