Re: What would you pick as a second camera? - X-T4 main, X100V, Ricoh GR III

My main camera is an X-E4 with a few primes. It is a small enough setup but sometimes I wish for something more discreet and spontaneous. So from your list I'd probably pick the GRIII. I used to own an X100F and despite being a great camera I see no real advantages over the X-E4 or an X-T4 for that matter. It is still a proper camera that is not pocketable.

But I had the GRIII for a few days and I kind of did not click with it. Compared to my Fuji cameras I own(ed) it felt cheap and plasticky. The shutter button was very stiff and the camera got pretty warm...almost uncomfortably so. Sometimes I get the urge to give the GRIII another chance but I really don't see me spending the money.

I did end up with an XQ2 which is not really a good camera and can't compete at all with either the GRIII or X-E4 but I can bring it to work or to other places where I don't want or can't babysit my gear because it was just a 100€...so...the same could be said for an older Sony RX100 series camera. You got your great X-T4 and something small, cheap but still capable enough.
