Re: 4k 3D macro frame from video

My rig for macro video uses two Panasonic TZ80 ( ZS60 in the USA ) cameras with a custom made beam splitter using a 50/50 mirror. It also can have fitted a single close-up lens ( achromatic ) for closer focusing. I mainly film at 1280 x 720 pixels 120fps. The TZ80 does a good quality clip at this setting. I like 120fps because filming insects is easier because they tend to move very fast. Also I can sync the timing of the two clips for left the right cameras to the nearest frame which is 1/120 of a second.

In this example I am hand holding the rig and trying to get the distance right for focusing on the insect ( which is on the move ). I aligned this clip in Davinci Resolve and output at 2560 x 1440 pixels 30fps.
