Hi all,

I shoot with R5 and RF 24-105 f/4 L and RF 70-200 f/4 L.

I noticed that on regular to fast shutter on the RF 24-105 f/4 the image gets slightly blurry.

It happens on 1/60 or faster shutter. So it is not about shaking the camera.

I have the IBIS and lens IS on.

The most interesting observation is, that when I shoot same thing on 1/10, or even 1/3 shutter which is slower and should has more chance to get more blurry, the image is more sharp than on a much faster shutter like 1/60 or even faster than that.

If you believe me that I hold the camera very still, the most logical option that comes to my mind is the lens IS has an issue?!

From my analysis, I don't observe same image blurriness on my RF 70-200 f/4 shots. This hints me to the fact that the IBIS is fine. Otherwise I'd see it regardless which lens I use.

Then I thought maybe the RAW processing of Lightroom Classic is wrong. I opened it in Canon DPP. Same result.

Those of you who own R5 and RF 24-105 f/4, do have such issue too? are you familiar with such? have you heard about it somewhere? If you had it, how did you fix it?

Please notice the issue:

cRAW 1/10 shutter image in DPP 200% zoom

Thanks.

Are you accounting for subject motion? I doesn’t take much of a breeze to make foliage blurry.
