Crazy good?
2

If phones make "crazy good pictures", then OP has already answered his own question.

BUT let's just say phones are unreliable cameras. First off, they are so thin and slippery with basically no controls on the body that using one reliably is impossible.

Also impossible- telephoto images.

Being so small, the IS mechanisms have trouble coping with all the movement, resulting in jittery images.

No replaceable batteries, another pretty big problem.

Last but not least, i have never seen "crazy good images" coming from a phone. I mean, even the blurring is fake, it's obvious even on the 6 inch screen of the phones themselves!
