Guides like that are fine for telling you where the settings are, and roughly what they do. I think what the OP is looking for (and I am too) is a video specific guide that tells you exactly what each video setting is and does, why you would use it, and what combinations would be ideal for given situation. Like, there's entire guides made for recommended stills setup for birds in flight, landscape, astro, macro, etc that go into much more detail than any general setup guide. "Set this setting to this value, because it will give this result." Something like that for video for those of us who don't know much about the subject would be great.
