Aperture control in manual

To control exposure compensation when using Av or Tv on the R5, I use the thumb dial (the one with the set button in the middle).

I Use the dial at the back (the one with the mode button in the middle) to change ISO and the main dial at the front to change aperture or shutter speed depending on the mode.

I want to start using manual exposure and the default to change aperture is the thumb dial. As I have already got this assigned to exposure compensation I currently have no way to change the aperture without reassigning the dial.

How to other people set their R5 up to get over this.
