Any of you have some of the smaller RF primes that you could take a few photos mounted on the camera? Curious what the size balance is for a lot of them. Even the 14-35 has an interesting range on the camera (21-54mm).
Hi
No I don't but the great thing on this camera (R10) is unlike the M6II it handles well with moderately large lenses - so long as they are not wide near the mount.
E.g. the adapted 300mm f/2.8 II handles pretty well, as does the adapted EF 100-400 II. Adapted EF 40mm f/2.8 and 60 f/2.8 very nice. Still prefer my R5 for the 500m f/4.
However the RF 100-500 and RF 50 1.2 are too wide near the mount so no spaces for one's fingers.
So look more at width near the mount in RF, rather than length and weight for ergonomic considerations.
I agree. I picked up an R10 to complement my R6. Was going to get the R7 but I was not crazy about the joystick / wheel combo. The R10 is very small but the comment above is spot on. I only have it for a couple of days, but it looks to be a very nice match to my RF 70-200 4.0 and RF 100-400 . Of course, no problem with the small kit lens, or small prime like the RF 50 1.8 . I also plan to use an EF-S 10-18 with adapter.
I'd love to see the 10-18 mounted with the adapter, along with the 50 and 70-200!
