I've got some idea learning from my failure. I also gain some experience on how I need my equipment laid out on.

I need to have the cart foldable so it would fit in the trunk of my car.

I think an open top which I can put back the equipment and retrieve easily is important. No strapping. I think an horizontal setting would minimize the falling. I am thinking about a similar cart as pictured here. I also need to have the tripod extended (I usually extend one section of the leg) and still be be able to put it back in the cart while moving around.

I think this cart may have a problem going up stairs or rough terrain.

The cart looks to me to be very limited in how and when it could be used with any great ease, plus it may attract the wrong sort of attention.

The adaptable trolley I bought two decades ago is called a "Total Trolley". I don't think they make them any more but perhaps there are equivalents.  I seldom use it as it is rather larger than the two wheel cart I uploaded earlier in this thread. The TT in its two wheel mode is extremely robust and ideal in a lot of scenarios - including non-photo/video usage such as moving loads of paving slabs if you are renewing a patio :- )  In its four wheel mode it can hold anything. It also modifies into a step ladder and that can be good if you need the extra height when shooting.

I think you mentioned earlier about your slider bowing at the ends. That is quite easily fixed without having to use two tripods simultaneously. You screw one end of the slider onto the normal video head and then improvise an arm that clamps on one tripod leg and screws to the base of the other end of the slider; I'll try to find a photo illustrating it, but there are examples on Youtube plus readymade ones you can buy.
