Glitching and freezing in video recording?
Glitching and freezing in video recording?
I just shot a wedding with my two week old Fuji XH2S and it was, well, a disaster. A ton of my footage has this bizarre glitching in it. I would have thought it was a corrupt memory card but this happened with four different cards. Not incredibly taxing settings either. Either 24p or 60p at 200mbps h.265 10 bit 4:2:0. All the footage from my second camera, an XT4 was completely fine. I tried to upload the clip directly on here but got an error so sorry for the link but here's a clip on YouTube. It's a video taken on my phone but you get the point. It's not a QuickTime issue because it does the same thing in final cut, except worse because the screen just goes black when it glitches, hence my phone recording of the screen so I could show what's happening. The clip is from a couple days prior to the wedding of my kid dancing which shows the same issues, I didn't want to upload a broken clip of someone's wedding! Wish I realized this was happening before it costs me thousands in returned funds and what will surely be a very displeased client.
Has anyone ever seen this before?
