Thank you. That was taken at Hodges Gardens State Park in Louisiana several years ago.

The backstory is, the park was originally a privately-owned botanical gardens and lake, quite the attraction in its day (1950s - 1960s mostly). The lake was made from a quarry of some kind when a local creek was rerouted to flood it. The illuminated cross on the lakeshore was constructed many decades ago by the original owners and remained as an attraction after the state took ownership (or some agreement) and turned it into a state park in the mid-2000s. Unfortunately it's closed again, at least as a public park.

We were staying in a lakeshore cabin just around a bend from the cross. There was a series of tremendous thunderstorms that roared through that evening and this shot was taken from the cabin's back porch maybe, of if not, just down a bit from it. It was very moist and there were sodium lights outside, but after having been in the cabin for longer than I cared, I was itching to push a shutter button. This was a shot of opportunity.

Whatever the Canon Rebel XT / 350D may have been good for, low-noise / low-light wasn't it! LOL But I think it looks OK as long as you don't peer too close!
