As someone that actually owns and uses the X-E4, it's ergonomics are more than fine with the only button I actually miss being the MCS switch. Not only that but even though it's the heaviest of any of the X-E models it's also the smallest which when paired with the 27/2.8, 18/2, or either of the Voigtlander f1.2 lenses means it's more than small enough to take with you anywhere. Not only that I've been comfortable enough with it's weight that I went an entire day holding the camera with the 70-300 attached at the SD wild animal park using only a wrist strap and thumb rest accessories and have zero intention of ever getting the grip addition.
