The M6 Mark II goes to an Airshow - and is joined by the 15-45 Kit Lens!

Hi all.  I highly recommend attending the EAA Airventure annual air show in Oshkosh Wisconsin USA if you ever get the chance.  It is an absolute blast!  Tons of planes, many airshows, and access to a LOT of aircraft.

For flight shots I took my R5 + RF 100-500 and shot using electronic shutter.  It was an ideal combination.  I was pretty conservative with my 20 fps bursts and still I shot 8500 frames in 9 hours.  It was certainly a target-rich environment!

For walk-around however, instead of trucking a wide angle lens for the R5 (and having to do many lens swaps), I just took my trusty M6ii + 15-45 Kit Lens (the only lens I packed).  It was a perfect companion!

I'll post two sets of images.  One set shot at 15mm, and one set shot at 45mm.  I'll include them in two separate posts, as they are very large files (jpegs 2160 pixels on the short side).  Large enough for evaluation purposes (all rights reserved thank you  ).

I'll just note that I am very happy with this lens, but hopefully these photos will serve to help folks on the fence to draw their own conclusions.

As always, many thanks for looking,

R2
