Re: Sony a1 - SD or CF Express

Just got an A1 myself (and don't shoot video). I'm using Kingston 128GB 300mbs SD cards. One thing to bear in mind about the buffer on the A1 is that the camera doesn't lock you out of anything (that I've come across anyway) while the buffer is clearing. Your shoot speed will eventually slow down, but you can still change settings (that you can't do on the 7 series cameras, for instance). I'm only shooting at 15fps, not 30 (Tamron lenses), and I get just over 200 shots before I hit the buffer. That's 13 seconds of shooting (which I personally would rarely do in the real world). Even if you hit the buffer and wait a second, you'll get another second or so shooting at full speed, before hitting the buffer again.

I will get a CFExpress some time, but I'll wait for a good deal or the price to drop.
