I hear you. I'm perfectly happy without IBIS. I rarely miss shots with my X-Pro 3.

I always shoot handheld, too. No tripods. It's just what you're comfortable with.

There seems to exist a wide range of shooting situations where many will rarely miss shots. Those without IBIS take this to indicate they don’t need it. Those that have it assume it was because of the IBIS.
