My .02 ...

Just returned from a quick mini-reunion and used my new M6 II for the first time. I also have the M50 & plan to use it as a 2nd backup body.

Using the M6 II with the 18-150 & 11-22 in varying lighting conditions (bright outdoor to dim indoor-no flash) I was quite impressed with first results of the M6 II. It handles extreme conditions much better than the M50. Some of the low light results remind me of the 6D's capabilities. My low light photos will benefit from DXO but for the intended purposes of a family outing, are usable straight from the camera. Very impressive.

Even tho I bought the EVF I didn't have to use it due to bright sunshine - it will probably be most useful when using the 70-200 w/1.4.

If on a tight budget the M50 II (or M50 refurb/slightly used) should be just fine but for not a great deal more, the M6 II is, by far, the greater value.

A big +1.

You certainly have the Formula down pat!!

Enjoy your new kit!
