But as you can see with the two M lenses already adapted to RF, it is a quick fix and not looking very well.

I will continue to use my M equipment since it is really good, small and light, but it is an ending story.

As with EF, Canon never will make a full set of R lenses for APS-C. Someone who wants that has to go to Fuji, Olympus or 4/3.

Except for the (significantly) lower price compared to the R5, I do not regret not having waited for the R7. FF has some advantages too, this page is turned.

All R7 reviews tell what we already know since long, the 32 mpx sensor has more resolutions as a cropped R5 (and double that of the R6).

On R7 the only RF lenses which make sense are RF 70-200 f/2.8, RF 16 and RF 50 and maybe RF 35, the other are too dark or expensive to make sense on a crop body.

I totally agree, the R crowd seems to be completely oblivious to the fact that for some people size and weight are the primarly deciding reasons for camera body.

Both G* X and the Rs suffer from compromized 24 mm lenses compared to at least sometimes good 15-45.

as it is relatively inexpensive and is no darker than the EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3. I am sure more than a few people will be trying the RF 600mm f/11 and 800mm f/11 on the crop bodies too. Not a lot of direct copies of EF-M lenses, but plenty of interesting options.
