Re: Nesting Berylline Hummingbird

A female Berylline Hummingbird (Saucerottia beryllina) has decided, perhaps unwisely, to nest right over the walkway between the main entrance of the building in which I work and the parking lot. Her nest is about four meters above ground level, so only a couple of meters above head level.

To avoid disturbing her more than I would do in my normal business, I only stop for a few seconds as I enter or leave the main entrance. Sometimes I just observe. Other times I take a few quick photos. She's been incubating for about a week now.

Alan

Cool!

I notice you, like others, are using the ef-s 55-250mm IS STM with a teleconverter. That combo seems pretty popular. Does it provide good IQ?
