Re: Is “Live Preview” on an iPad possible?

It can be, but I have not found a good or easy solution.

The Fuji remote app can do it, but the preview is small, partly because it works in vertical mode only, although they say Fuji is re-making the remote app at present.

Next is the Cascable remote app, because the image is landscape and bigger.

The Fuji app will connect via Bluetooth easily, for remote release - both Apps need a Wifi connection to stream the image. Good luck getting it to work.

Most users hate the Fuji app, but lately I find it connects more reliably than the Cascable App. For me both are too painful to be useful.

I expect the easiest, and most reliable is an HDMI cable to a small monitor, so not the iPad in this case. A cable works well from Fuji cameras. Cleaner image with the info display turned off too. I expect your camera has a micro hdmi socket.

Next is the CamRanger 2 device, although fairly expensive, and it has reduced features on Fuji cameras. I think it uses a USB cable to connect to the camera.

following this post I have a link to an HDMI transmitter for iPad, expensive, and it’s only a monitoring device, compared to the CamRanger.
Those are all I know of so far
