I need a fast and autofocus lens, that's why I'm thinking about getting a non-EF-M lens, since all the fast and AF lens(EF-M or not) are really expensive, why would I get the EF-M? The 11-22mm seems great but it's not fast at all.

The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 is about the same price as the Canon 11-22mm and fast, but it's huge (the same size as the full-frame Sony 24-70mm f/4) and it doesn't zoom. It's said to be nearly as good as the reasonably sized Samyang 12mm f/2 at ⅔ the price. That Samyang doesn't zoom or AF, but it has a focussing scale and a huge depth of field.

The Canon 22mm f/2 is your cheapest AF option new, but 35mm FF equivalent isn't thought of as particularly wide these days. The Canon 11-22mm is slow, but it's just as good in low light as the 22mm f/2 if your subject isn't moving, because of its IS. What you lose in possibly stopping subject movement is more than made up for in having more of your subject in focus.
