No, the camera will go to sleep after a certain time and then automatically turn off/go to standby if not used.

Just to note that if you have “Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl” set to "On" (to use with the Bluetooth remote), the camera won't go into sleep or auto off mode, and will stay on until the battery depletes. Certainly true of the A7iii anyway.
