BIF and IIF AF with M50 vs M50 ii

does the ii offer any changes to peaking or magnification MF aids?
As far as I know from deciding between keeping my m50i and gettin' the new m50ii, the real difference lies in video, since the m50ii adds a clean HDMI and auto rotation for video.
Is the AF of the ii so much better than M50 that it’s routinely useful for BIF or insects like bees or dragonflies specifically with the EF-S 55-250 STM or the EF 70-300 IS ii?

AF speed is improved, as an owner of both says in the forum above.

AF is now also improved in low light, from -2ev to -4ev, but only on f/1.4 lenses. SO, htis will not be noticable with your lenses.
Have you considered upgrading your lens to an f/2.8 (70-200)? I own the Tamron version one and absolutely love it! Just the weight will increase.
