Prices like these....
LOL! 😂😅
X100V is no longer being produced. Same thing with X-Pro3. X-T3 which was a best selling model was recently discontinued.
I can surmise a few reasons:
- X100V has a complex assembly with OVF/EVF + ND filters + leaf shutter + two in one dial etc etc. It takes more time to manufacture and maybe it is not profitable. Fuji prefers to manufacture X-S10.
- X100V and X-Pro3 use an older firmware which Fuji does not want to maintain or sell, hopefully so that development team can focus on newer cameras
- Maybe older cameras have some part which fell under shortage constraints during recent international crisis. My guess is the LCD display.
- Who knows, maybe the staff that was skilled in assembling X100V fell ill due to COVID and took a long break
- Maybe the new lens cannot resolve well on 40Mp sensor, so Fuji does not want to manufacture it. Instead, they are working on new concept for X100 series from scratch.
Anyways, according to 3 year schedule, next X100 series may come out in 2023.
Just a good lesson here - since Fuji makes only limited and small batches of X100 series that get spread over thousands of stores in 50+ countries all over the world, always buy it when it first appears, even if you have to travel to another city. Buy it in person from a small camera store. Never get into those year long waiting lines at B&H.
Funny thing is, the X-E4 can't be found either. Or the Xpro-3 non dura edition. You an actually buy an X-E4 at scalper prices.
i just bought the X-E4 last month at B&H for $849. I simply waited a few weeks. Cameras are affected by lack of parts … if you want one, get on a list and you’ll get one. It is that simple.
I was simply commenting on the lack of this camera being in stock. I wasn't like complain gin because I couldn't get one.
You said it can’t be found and you have to pay scalper prices… it can be found at normal price. However, people preorder and wait. Once they are delivered, there is no surplus for stock. It is that simple.
If you are preordering and it takes a very long time to get to you and normally the camera is out of stock, then yes, if you want it now you need to pay scalper prices. It's like the Playstation 5.
What is a long time?
This is very simple. The camera was traditionally on stock. Several Fuji models now are not. Can't find at BHPhoto or Adorama. What happened recently? Ah yes, pandemic and supply shortage. That's it.
Are you really trying to say these aren't the issues affecting Fujifilm and other manufacturers.
No, the opposite! But apparently you want to argue.
Ok buddy, you win. I give up.

We're Noct messing around with this review.
Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom impress in a lot of ways, but their noise reduction lags the competition and their lens corrections lack a real-world basis. DxO PureRAW 3 aims to come to their rescue without totally reinventing your workflow!
The Sony ZV-E1 is the company's latest vlogging-focused camera: a full-frame mirrorless camera based the FX3/a7S III sensor, aimed at YouTubers and 'creators' looking to go pro.
The Sony ZV-E1 is a full frame camera targeting YouTubers. Chris and Jordan are Youtubers, what do they think?
Holy Stone produces dozens of low-cost drone models aimed at consumers. We look at the HS710 and HS175D to see if they stack up to other sub-250g offerings. Are these secretly great or more like toys?
Above $2500 cameras tend to become increasingly specialized, making it difficult to select a 'best' option. We case our eye over the options costing more than $2500 but less than $4000, to find the best all-rounder.
There are a lot of photo/video cameras that have found a role as B-cameras on professional film productions or even A-cameras for amateur and independent productions. We've combed through the options and selected our two favorite cameras in this class.
