After getting mine, I agree about the joystick. That’s awkward, because it is so high up on the body now.

This will depend on the size of the photographers hand. It's fine for me

I also somewhat agree with the EV Comp dial, that is my most used dial and now it has been replaced by the in body wheel. That’s pretty disappointing.

Do you have trouble finding the rear command dial? This setup is much better than the Nikon PASM setup where you must hold a button and spin the rear command dial.

Oh but I would like to add one more annoyance… The way the Auto ISO displays on the top LCD is confusing because it shows Auto then the highest ISO allowed. I spent like 20 minutes trying to figure out why I was at ISO 800 in broad daylight (I wasn’t).

Same as the H1 so I'm not surprised.  But in reality one has to take an exposure reading before the ISO can be calculated.  Same for shutter speed in aperture priority.  So Fuji made the decision to default to the max ISO when it does not have an estimate on the exposure.  The only other options is for the camera to continuously meter.  But that is probably more confusing as the lens might be pointed at a random location.

Another option would be to simply show four dashes to indicate it was not available.

It is confusing when you first see it but after a little thought - one realizes it is the old chicken and egg.  In auto ISO you need an exposure reading to calculate the ISO so what to display?  Before my wife afsconded with my H1, I developed the habit if I were interested in what the ISO would be was to simply point the lens to where I wanted an exposure estimate and then half press the shutter button with the camera at my waste and see what it said on the top display.
