I have only done this one concert with the H2s so far. I had no banding at all, But the X-T4 did not have any issues either, so it must have been just, good lighting. So its to early to tell. My got feeling tells me H2s has went a long way in this regard.

I do a lot of indoor events and some performing arts with tricky artificial lighting. Although the sensor read out speed is not in the same league, I was hoping the X-H2S might be a budget Sony A9ii!

It very much is and in many aspects its quite a bit better.
Besides I believe the readout speed of the X-H2s is only beaten Nikon Z9 (I cant find info)
Tricky artificial light will be an issue no matter what the readout speed.. until the readout is 0.01.. (or gloabal shutter)
