Lightweight telephoto option
1

Hello,

Im looking for a lightweight telephoto lens, mostly for landscape and hiking.

Im actually using a canon 70-200 F4, wich is 700gr + 125gr from the sigma mc-11. Image quality is great on both A7rII and A7III, but i want to save some weight and there are now more options than when i bought it.

I was thinking on the tamron 70-300 wich is cheap, wethersealed and really light for the reach, but not sure about its image quality compared to the canon.

the 28-200 could be an option, and get rid of my 28-75 2.8, although i prefer primes for wide and normal range.

Or maybe there is any other option that im not aware of.

Im also open to consider prime lenses, but all the 135mm i see weight as much as the 70-200

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
