Tamron 35-150/2-2.8 or 70-200/2.8 GM II

I have 17-28/2.8 and 70-180/2.8 Tamron, 24-70/2.8 GM and 100-400 GM.  Originally got the 70-180 because the original GM was way heavier but now planning on upgrading to 70-200/2.8 GM II.

For those who upgraded from 70-180 to GM2 do you notice a huge speed/accuracy difference on A1 or A9?  I also shoot a lot of video and wondering how the dual-IS is on 70-200 and A1 compared to just IBIS with 70-180.

The Tamron was great for it's time but zoom ring got stuck again and I will use it as a back up from now on after it is repaired.

Another option is to use 17-28 Tamron on one body and 35-150/2-2.8 on another body for certain situations where I need something wider that 24-70/2.8 coverage.  If I need longer then I can carry the 100-400 in a backpack.

Just wanted to check if anyone has considered the above options and what you decided.
