E-M10 II: ISO 20,000 in dim light
20

ISO 20,000 in dim light - Sikh man at a temple in Delhi, India

You will note that this E-M10 II photo is ISO 20,000. It was dim light. His face was in shadow with a brighter background (see the frosted glass window behind him). I had to brighten the photo and his face. I used Topaz Denoise AI to reduce the heavy noise.

These days Topaz Denoise AI, DXO DeepPrime, On1 NoNoise AI can be really helpful sometimes. OWS now has AI NR too, but only for certain OM/Olympus bodies and the computer requirements with regards to GPU are strangely much more stringent than the other programs. I use Denoise AI because it works with raw, TIFF, JPEG, etc. files. DXO only works on raw files. OWS is the same. I am not sure about NoNoise AI.

I rarely use such high ISO so I also rarely use Denoise AI, but sometimes it really comes in handy.
