Yes it’s pretty rubbish.  I don’t know how much is to do with the app itself and how much is just Fuji’s wifi implementation in their cameras, but there are many different ways the initial setup can just fail altogether, if you get it working the transfers are horrendously slow, and random disconnects are a continual occurrence.

I’ve also had an issue with no less than three X-Pro2’s now where the transfers will appear to work fine, but then one or more of the downloaded images will turn out to be corrupted and not display properly.  This is definitely happening during transfer (the images are always fine on the camera and can be downloaded again without issue) and I’ve experienced it with multiple iOS devices and as I say multiple X-Pro2s.  I actually sent one of these cameras into Fuji for warranty repair thinking it was a hardware fault, and they replaced the entire logic board - to no avail whatsoever.

Personally I’d just get a card reader.
