Can't you use the Q menu in addition to the C-modes?

Choose your functional settings with the C Modes

Then choose your visual style with the Q Menu.

And are there multiple settings banks for the q menu like on the xt4?

sure what a settings bank is - but you can choose the number of Q menu slots and you can change the function assigned to each slot

On the xt4 you can have, essentially, 7 different q menus for different setups. The manual calls them banks and they are selected ( once set up) through the upper left item on the q menu. That item changes from base to c1 to c2 etc.

The question in my mind is not that the H2S has a Q menu.  If it does, I'll most likely reprogram the button as I've done my Pro3 and it is deactivated on my H1 (can't reprogram it on the H1).   There are many things one cannot set up in the Q menu banks.  It is mostly for Jpeg.  One cannot change the focus type, type of collective, raw only, jpeg only ,etc.  One cannot set up the focus type.  These are all, however, programmable to the seven settings on the dial.

So how that is integrated with the Q menu and the actual operational concept is the important question to me.

At some point we will know as the XH2S is shipping.
