6D Mk II - Soft video but sharp stills

I shoot real estate (and have done for several years) and I’m perfectly happy with my static shots, regularly shooting seven figure houses so confident on that side.

now my clients have asked me to do do video tours, a logical extension, but I’m having tidiculous problems with video quality.

I’m using sigmas 12-24 f4.6 -5.6, crystal clear for stills but for the life of me I can’t get it to should good quality film footage.

set at f5.6 (the widest possible at 24mm) and 50fps @1080p, it just looks awful, when I mate it to my DJI Mini 2 footage it’s noticeably worse, and compared to my Mabic 3, well, it’s just day and night

Any ideas? The static shots are on the money in either viewfinder or rear screen shooting, so focus is good.
it almost looks like it’s knocked down to 480p, any thoughts?  I guess I’m missing something fundamental here, but what Imit ok go
