E-M10 Mk II & 20mm, f/1.7--compactness worth the price?

I'm perfectly happy with my 14-42mm kit lens. I seldom use lenses this wide. But...

I would like a fast, compact lens*. A 20mm, f/1.7 pancake might be useful, and I'd like to make the M10 II pocketable some times. My ZS70 is wearing out. A compact M10 might be a good stand in.

A replacement for the ZS70 would be over $400, while the 20mm is only a bit over $200.

Those who have this or similar combinations:

  • Is it worth the price?
  • How often do you use it?
  • Would the slow but compact 14-42mm EZ pancake be better?

Thanks.

*I have a manual Meike 25mm, f/1.8, but it is not a very good lens.
