X-Pro3 slow to hip fire?
1

I've noticed my X-pro3 is sometimes pretty slow to hip fire, either to begin hip firing or to continue hip firing.

What I mean by "hip fire" is any time I don't have the camera up to my eye (i.e. the eye sensor isn't activated). But when I activate the eye sensor it fires about as fast as I press the shutter. This behavior is the same with the OVF and the EVF.

By contrast, my X-T2 is extremely fast to start shooting and continue shooting when I have it away from my eye, and this with it in the "EVF Only + Eye Sensor" mode.

So, given that both cameras are in basically the same "mode" with regard to the eye sensor, I don't understand why the X-T2 would respond more quickly and consistently, with or without the eye sensor activated.

Am I just missing a setting somewhere that would be the culprit for causing the XP3 to be so slow?
