Add me to the list of buyers. I love my D500 and value the advantages of APS-C over full-frame for wildlife. The Z9 is of minimal interest but an APS-C Z with Z9 DNA would be very appealing.

The ability to shoot silently would be a huge selling point for me. Also, Nikon is developing some amazing lenses for wildlife enthusiasts in the Z-cosystem...the 800mm PF, 400mm f/4.5, and upcoming 200-600mm are all intriguing options. While the 100-400mm Z isn't of much interest to me, I'd include it (along with an adapted 500mm PF) among the growing list of quality, portable optics available for wildlife photogs who migrate to Z.
