Hi,
There are many older models of X series cameras with older X-Trans sensors that DON'T have Classic Chrome film simulation(CCFS).
I own an old X100S that doesn't have this CCFS. Is it possible to manipulate existing FSs to transform one of them to look like CC or really close to it? I suspect not(*), if so can you tell me the camera settings, thanks in advance.
* I think there is a software that can change the EXIF to make X100S to say X100F and basically deceives the Fuji studio S/W so the s/w thinks it is X100F hence I can get the CC simulation profile. This is a little long-winded and tedious way.
It’s easy to change the model data with Iridient X-Transformer when you’re creating a DNG with better X-Trans demosaicing to edit with in Lightroom, but I prefer to create a custom profile to mimic the Classic Chrome film sim that can be used normally with the X100S without having to mess with the EXIF data. If you’re using the modern version of Lightroom I can probably come up with a profile for you to install and try.
I switched image processing some time ago my latest LR(*)version(old) is Version 6.14, basically a stand-alone one not online. Can this version read your profile?
* basically I refuse to subscribe to the monthly/yearly version and besides I was not sure it can process Fuji files accurately.
