Stuttering video, normal? Nikon Z9

I’m a photographer, but want to expand my activities to cinematography. I have a lot to learn and expect a lot of user error. I bought the Nikon Z9, because I can travel with one camera system for both still and video.

I did a quick test for the first time and got horrible stuttering video. I hope someone can check if it’s normal behaviour. I expected a more smooth film-like appearance. I notice the stuttering especially when slower panning. The camera was hand held.

Settings Z9: 4.1K, 23.976 fps, Shutter speed: 1/50, N-RAW, N-log

Davinci Resolve: Timeline 23.976 fps, render to .MP4, H.264, 23.976 fps

The rendered video on Dropbox 341MB

Questions:

  1. Is this normal behaviour?
  2. just panning too fast?
  3. If not, what am I doing wrong?
