Is anyone using EF 28mm f/2.8 IS USM on the R5?

It's a lens dating back from the era of max 20Mp sensors. There's not a whole lot of data or pictures available to compare this lens to other lenses I'm familiar with.

It's only f/2.8, but as soon as you want something brighter (Zeiss distagon f/2.0) it's pretty soft wide open (& manually focusing, although with focus assist), unless you'll bring the 865 grams Sigma f/1.4 Art.

This got me thinking: if the EF 28mm f/2.8 IS USM is tack sharp wide open it could be worth it to get one.  This brings me to the question: How is it's IQ wide open at 45Mp?

45 is more than enough, but 500.000 isn't
