Went to the opticians

A few weeks ago; had the eye tests, chose my frames and decided on variofocal lenses. Scratch resistant, auto magic darkening, anti-glare- all for a £150.00 per pair of lenses.

Modern  computer analysis, design and grinding has made it easy to produce glasses which allow continual focus from closeup to distance. So why can’t  I buy a lens to screw to the front of my camera lens which will dispense with the need to focus stack?

£80-£120 is about par for good filters, so the price range is within reason.
